General Guidelines
These guidelines apply to every participant at LUMORA 2026. Rules specific to an individual competition — team size, fees, submission format — are listed on that event's own page.

The Carnival is open for both UG and PG students from recognized Colleges & Universities across India.

Only registered participants with valid college IDs will be eligible to participate.

Registration is confirmed only after successful payment.
- 4
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- 5
Participants registering for academic events can attend any Academic Event across the 3 days, without registering for competitions.

Participants are advised to register for other events only if there is no clash in the schedule. No special consideration will be given for conflicting event timings.

Any doubts regarding the event should be clarified before it starts.
- 8
Lack of discipline, any misconduct or malpractice will lead to disqualification.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to seek clarification or supporting documents, wherever necessary.

The decision of the Screening Committee, Expert panel, Judges and the Organizers shall be final and binding. No appeals will be entertained.

The participants shall respect judges, volunteers and fellow participants.
- 12
The organizers may revise schedules or modify rounds due to unforeseen circumstances.

The organizers reserve the right to reject any entry that does not comply with the competition rules, with regard to online events.

The organizers will not provide or take responsibility for the safety, storage, or maintenance, of the participants' belongings.

Photographs/videos may be used for academic and promotional purposes.

Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited during the competition unless explicitly permitted by the organizers. Possession or use of such devices may result in disqualification.

All team members must remain present until the prize distribution unless permitted otherwise.

A Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participants.

Food arrangements will be provided for all registered participants.
- 20
A token of appreciation for the institution will also be given during the prize distribution ceremony, for those colleges from where a minimum of 10 students have participated in the various competitions of LUMORA 2026.

A Live Show Pass for the Music Performance must be purchased separately from academic event registration/competition registrations.
