Mimora (Mime Competition)

About

An intercollegiate mime competition for 6-8 member teams, screened via video submission before a final live round.

Rules & Rounds

- Registration must be completed through the official registration portal by September 9, 2026. The competition is open only to college students; each team shall consist of 6-8 members. - Participating teams must send a 3-minute performance video (Google Drive/YouTube link) for screening to connect.lumora@loyolacollegekerala.edu.in with subject 'MIM101' on or before September 9, 2026, along with college name (and team name), contact info of two team members, and the full team list. - Only shortlisted teams qualify for the final round; they will be informed through the registered portal and by a student representative. - Selected teams: performance duration is 7-10 minutes including setup and exit; teams must report 60 minutes before the scheduled performance. - Mime performances shall not contain spoken dialogue, lip-synching or recorded speech; background music, sound effects and minimal props may be used. - Audio (MP3) and backdrop video (MP4), if any, must be submitted one day before the event — no changes permitted after submission. - Performances should primarily rely on facial expressions and body language. Vulgar, offensive or discriminatory content will result in disqualification. The decision of the judges and organizing committee shall be final and binding.
