Best Social Work Intervention

A two-round competition — online video screening followed by an in-person panel presentation — showcasing original, evidence-based Social Work interventions from fieldwork and community practice.

Rules & Rounds

- A maximum of 3 departments from the same college/institution are eligible to participate; only one entry from each department, with each department nominating one team of 2 participants. - Round I – Online Screening: each team submits a 5 to 8-minute recorded intervention video based on an original, evidence-based Social Work intervention (fieldwork, community practice, institutional practice, research, extension activities, or other professional social work initiative). Supporting evidence such as photographs, field documentation, case illustrations, testimonials, reports, or outcome indicators is encouraged. Teams for the final round are shortlisted based on the submitted videos. - Round II – Final Presentation (Offline): shortlisted teams present their intervention in person before an expert panel with a 10-minute PowerPoint presentation.
