Resonance (Music Band Competition)

An intercollegiate live music band competition for 6-10 member bands, screened via video submission before a final live round.

Rules & Rounds

- Registration must be completed through the official registration portal by September 9, 2026. The competition is open only to college students; each band shall consist of a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 members. - Band members may belong to different colleges, but the band must represent only one college, with a maximum of two members from other colleges (requiring an authorization letter from their college, submitted through the registered team). - Participating teams must send a 3-minute performance video (Google Drive/YouTube link) for screening to connect.lumora@loyolacollegekerala.edu.in with subject 'RES101' on or before September 9, 2026, along with college name (and team name), contact info of two team members, and the full team list. - Only shortlisted bands qualify for the final round; they will be informed through the registered portal and by a student representative. - Selected teams: sound check setup is 10 minutes, performance is 15 minutes; bands must report 60 minutes before the scheduled performance. - A standard 5-piece drum kit and basic sound system will be provided; participants must bring their own instruments and accessories. - All performances must be live — covers, originals, or combinations are permitted, but pre-recorded tracks are prohibited.
