An individual, fully online book cover redesign competition where participants hand-craft a new cover for a book chosen from the organizers' list.

Rules & Rounds

- Individual participation, open to students of all disciplines, from participating colleges. Entirely online, single-round competition. - Each participant may choose only one of three books provided by the organizers (Pride and Prejudice, 1984, or Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone) and submit one entry. - Entries must be emailed to connect.lumora@loyolacollegekerala.edu.in on or before 05 September 2026, with subject line 'COVER QUEST [Your Name, Registration number]', including full name, college name, book title chosen, and contact details. - The redesigned book cover must be completely handmade — AI-generated artwork, digital illustrations, graphic design software, and editing tools are not permitted; the artwork must be original and created solely by the participant. - Entries must be submitted in JPG/JPEG format including the original book cover, the redesigned book cover, and a photograph of the participant holding the redesigned book. Blurred, incomplete, or late submissions will not be considered. - Entries will be judged on creativity, originality, relevance to the book, aesthetic appeal, and overall presentation. - Winners must present their redesigned book on 12 September 2026, the final day of the Carnival, for verification. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
