Caligo - The Crime Investigation

A code-breaking and encryption-themed crime investigation for 2-member teams, open to students of all disciplines.

Rules & Rounds

- A maximum of 16 teams can register for the event. -Each team must consist of exactly two members. A maximum of two teams from each college may participate; if more than two teams register, only the first two completed registrations will be accepted. -If more than 5 teams register, an elimination round will be conducted to select the final 5 teams. The format and rules of the elimination round will be announced before the event. - Students from all academic disciplines are eligible to participate; participation is not limited to Psychology students. - A basic understanding of code-breaking and encryption techniques may be helpful, though prior expertise is not mandatory. - Winners are determined based on accuracy in solving the clues and time taken to complete the challenge. In the event of a tie or unforeseen circumstance, the organizing committee reserves the right to adopt an appropriate tie-breaking method or split the prize; their decision shall be final. - Participants must not seek or receive assistance from spectators, faculty members, or any external source during the competition. -Participants must report to the designated venue before the scheduled start time. Failure to report on time or leaving the competition without prior permission from the organizing committee may result in disqualification.
